GARAGE / PUNK - Streetdate: 9.10.2015 So langsam wird es wieder nass und kalt auf den Straßen. Da braucht das Gemüt ein wenig Sonnenschein in Form von Musik zum überwintern, richtig? Gut das ihr da nicht lange suchen müsst denn der Moloch von Berlin hat mal wieder ne neue geile Punkband hochgewürgt. FEMME KRAWALL mit Menschen von Derbe Lebowski und Zerfetzt bringen den Sommer nämlich zurück in die heimische WG-Wohnküche. Mit ihrem hochexplosiven Cocktail aus Surf Punk, irgendwo aus der Garage und ihrer Riot Grrrl Attitüde haben diese fünf bereits die Herzen von Bierzelt Punkern und Polit Kids zugleich erobert. Mit ihrem Doppelgesang der einen sofort mitreißt, den schneidenen, in Hall getränkten Surfgitarrenriffs, dem pumpenden, knarzenden Bass und den wummernden Drums, zaubern euch FEMME KRAWALL das Lächeln zurück in die Fresse. Geile Texte mit Tiefgang und ein bisschen Dada gibs auch noch dazu. Aufgenommen hat das ganze Andreas Sommer (Henry Fonda, Ancst, Afterlife Kids) der auch für die letzten Aufnahmen von Bands wie Morla oder Fuck, Wolves! verantwortlich ist. Ihr seht also, ihr kommt an der Platte nicht vorbei. Gut das Spastic Fantastic also im Oktober die Band auf die Welt loslässt und es dann schicke einseitig bespielte LP's gibt. Das ganze erscheint in einer Erstpressung von 300 Stück, von denen 100 auf türkisem Vinyl mit schickem B-Seiten-Siebdruck gepresst sind. Also ranhalten!

Well, fellow friends don't you seek any further. Berlin has once again spat out a new and energetic punk band that's ready to kick some ass. Founded by members of Derbe Lebowski and Zerfetzt, here comes FEMME KRAWALL, the answer to all your prayers. By combining their snotty and dirty garage surf punk with their own blend of a funny but intelligent riot grrrl attitude, these five cuties have already warmed the hearts of traditional gutter punks and serious activists alike. They have it all, dual vocals that instantly catch you and make you wanna sing along, some serious surf guitar riffs drowned in layers of reverb, a gritty pumping bass and some punkish drumming. and if you like your lyrics a bit weird, FEMME KRAWALL will definitely put that smile back on your face. The whole thing was recorded and mixed by Andreas Sommer of Henry Fonda, Ancst and Berlins Afterlife Kids who had been responsible for the latest recordings of Morla or Fuck, Wolves.If you are after something that has substance and is fun at the same time I strongly recommend you grab yourself a copy of their first LP, that will be out in October through Spastic Fantastic in an edition of 300 copies. 200 black and 100 turquoise with a nice B-side screen print.
